Busy WCAHS Weekend!

It was a big weekend for WCAHS! On Saturday, we were at the 4-H Garage Sale selling flowers, flower pots, and we also brought fosters. We were next to the petting zoo, so things were a little more animal-centric than normal!

We had lots of pretty flowers, and hand-painted pots done by local artists.

And...we had kittens!

Four totally adorable, adoptable kittens. Aren't they just the cutest things ever?

Buffy the Vampire Slayer keeps the boys in line.

Barney: "Hey, don't forget about me!"

Fred, Barney, and Dixie were there too.

Barney: "You weren't going to mention us. I knew it."

They were very cute too.

Fred: "Wouldn't have been an event without me, Fred."

Dixie got to walk around the fairgrounds and even got to eat a sno-cone.

And look at all the pretty pots!

On Sunday, we had an adoption event at Pet Expo.

Our newest foster, Rosie, made her first public appearance. She did very well.

Dixie came, too. She was a little sad there were no sno-cones today.

Dixie: "Not even mini donuts?"

Boo and Diesel cuddled together nicely. That is, until people came by to pet them. Boo would try to push Diesel out of the way when he felt they were paying too much attention to Diesel.

Fred was a little shy, but that didn't stop the younger crowd from checking him out!

Barney just hung out in his (clean) litter box. He was a very good boy. 

All in all, it was a busy but fun weekend for everyone!
