Pet of the Week: Grizzly

Our pet of the week is Grizzly, who you may have met at the fair!

Grizzly is a lab (or lab cross) who is just shy of his 2nd birthday. (He was born on 9/11/11.) He came to WCAHS because his owner did not have time for him anymore. He enjoys playing catch, cuddling, and getting attention!

Grizzly has been to many public events and has taken everything in stride. He is fostered with another dog. Here they are, having a fun play time.

He has shown himself to be good with kids. However, because of his size he would probably be better in a home with older children. He also has some separation anxiety, which he and his foster mama are working on.

Grizzly is learning basic commands. He can be very focused, and his foster mom thinks he would make a good hunting dog. He’s also a bit of a clown; he loves to sleep upside down with all four paws in the air!

Grizzly’s adoption fee is $125. He is neutered, vetted, and ready to go to his forever home! If you're interested in Grizzly, send an e-mail to wcahsadoptions@gmail.com!
